GymSym is a Delhi-based startup that provides SAAS application to manage daily operations of gyms/fitness clubs. As of date, the company is bootstrapped  with 5 member team with over 11 Gyms in different areas across Delhi/NCR, with monthly recurring revenue of Rs 30,000

The product is primarily used by gyms, fitness and personal training centers, salons, spas and massage centers, wellness centers, dance schools and yoga studios. GymSym is built on the Salesforce Platform which means product delivers the same reliability, scalability, security, and speed used by the largest companies in the world. GymSym leverage core functionality provided by Salesforce.com, such as Chatter, workflows, business processes, mobile software development kits, communities, and real-time hierarchical reporting.

Deepinder worked on various gym management tools available in the market but always felt that something is missing. No one is working on solving the core problem of how to keep members happy? Deepinder decided to put her domain knowledge into building GymSym – a cloud based Gym Management Software providing easy management of customer data, handling walk-in, online calendar, booking system, payment gateway integration, a mobile app and much more.

Deepinder faced challenges initially on how things were done because it was all very new. She had no experience in setting up a company back then and it was extremely overwhelming at times; However, there is enough opportunity for multiple players to be in this domain. She has a strong technology team with never say die attitude, which keeps the spirit alive. The first few months of the business were certainly very stressful, it was a really tough time, but it was also the time that shaped GymSym strategy for the business.

Since inception (Sep 2016) till now, the month-on-month customer acquisition growth is 20 percent. GymSym follows a SaaS revenue model and charges gym on the per-user-per-month model at Rs 1,857. At present, GymSym has 11 customers and aims to onboard 150 users and generate a revenue of Rs 36 lakh by October 2018.
